I don’t know all that much about sports, but I’ve always loved baseball. When I was a little kid I would fall asleep on my Grandparent’s couch listening to Phil Rizzuto do the play by play from Yankee Stadium. I grew to associate that voice, the sounds of the fans, the applause and the crack of the bat to feeling safe, secure and loved. The sounds of baseball bring back some of my happiest memories. So just for old times sake I will probably watch or at listen to some of the World’s Series. And because I’m a Florida Girl, I’ll be rooting for the Tampa Bay Rays.
