FIRST ANNUAL F.A.M.E. AWARDS IS UP & RUNNING!
(Los Angeles, CA) – Organizers of the first annual F.A.M.E. (Fans of Adult Media & Entertainment) Awards are pleased to announce that fans can now vote on their favorites in the world of adult at the event’s only official website, www.thefameawards.com. There has already been publicity about this event but today the site went live. I attended a press conference yesterday where we could ask questions of the sponsors. The typical questions were asked, is voting secure (yes, very), how many times can you vote ( once per ISP address in preliminary and once in finals), when will voting end ( probably at convention, voting will continue there via computer). And then there were some odd questions asked mostly by infamous porn gossip columist Luke Ford; something like- " Is this contest degrading to women?" And "How will this benefit the Jews". You never know whether Luke is kidding or being serious and that's how he likes it. Being an Aussie, he has a sexy accent, and unusual sense of humor. I personally asked if they would add a category for the nicest female porn journalist, and everybody laughed. Truthfully, I think I would win because I can't think of a person that fits that description except me. Damn I wish I was in charge!
Unlike many other awards, this one will be voted on entirely by the fans. There are twelve categories each with 29 names to choose from or a space to write-in your own choice. You mus be 18 years old to vote.
I am curious to see if some of the stars start campaigning for votes from their fans. I think it would be a smart move. I remember when Bisexual Britni was in a contest against the top, top stars of the year. She sent out e-mails to all her fans, everyone she knew, posted on all the message boards and on her website and ended up winning the contest! So anything is possible, and EVERY star has the chance to win. I voted today because I have my own criteria and want to observe the star's self promotion without being influenced or put in a bad position ( like if someone I know says, will you please vote for me, I can honestly say I already voted) I decided the people I would vote for would have certain qualities such as extreme hotness, enjoying their job, doing steamy scenes, can really ACT when necessary, good body, pretty or handsome face, self respect (don't do ANY thing just for the money), promote porn in a positive light, and very important, are nice, appreciative and friendly to their fans and press people. Also if two were equal to me, I picked the one that hasn't already won awards. Let's spread the wealth around!

Awards Show.
Anh Tran (of adult movie rental by mail website WantedList.com), whose company developed the proprietary technology used for the F.A.M.E. Awards website voting process, ensured that a variety of security measures are being employed so that there will be no “unfair ballot stuffing. The software we’re using was made especially for this (event),” Tran said. “We’re guarding against any voter fraud.”
F.A.M.E. hostess Carmen Luvana says, “The adult business is about the fans. They are the reason a star or a movie is a success… it’s about time they had their say and I’m happy to be a part of this historical event.”
Tommy Gunn was also “excited and honored” to host this historic event. “To be considered at this stage in my career for something so in the forefront is amazing. I’m clearing my schedule!” the always-busy actor said when he was asked to host the event. “This is going to be great and we’re going to have a good time with the fans. I’m thrilled to be a part of this and the fans are the whole reason we’re here.”
“We wanted to create something that was made for and decided by the fans,” said Dan Davis, Genesis’ Editor-in-Chief, “and we think both the stars and fans will enjoy this whole experience. We urge the fans to vote, and much like a presidential election, if you didn’t vote, you can’t complain. Support your favorite stars and movies.”
Paul Fishbein, AVN’s president, said the event enhances Erotica L.A. by giving fans a chance to see the winners they themselves picked. “It ties right into the trade show, so why not get involved in this and bring in more fans?” he asked. it's me Donna! How are you? I am writing you a little note about my experience last month shooting with Smash Pictures for their 3rd release of the award winning series Cheating Housewives 3.
Let me tell you it was a fun day in Porn Valley. First of all the location was a mansion style home in the valley. Real nice one. I was Featuring in Long Beach at the Fantasy castle that week and the shoot was on a Saturday afternoon. The owner of the Fantasy Castle Jerry Wesland gave me his personal Limo and driver to take me up to the valley and back just to make sure I was safe. His driver is a near 300 lb African American guy named Jay who is very cool but very scary looking too. When I got there I was greeted by Mike Metropolis who by the way is an outstanding Director. He was just finishing up one of the scenes for the movie with Derrick Hay and Lisa Ann. They were just waiting on the pop shot and ready to wrap it up. So that was nice that I got to meet Lisa. She is very nice and still very hot!
The male talent I worked with that day was the famous Sasha. He now owns Naughty Modeling. Let me tell ya he is a true professional and a great performer! He knew just what they were looking for and exactly how to get it done. All I had to do was jump in and have a good time. I really liked working with Sasha he is good at what he does which only makes me work harder at putting out a great scene. Everybody wins when that happens. The stills and pretty girls were amazing and shot so well I can't wait to see the final products. Also, this was my first Feature style scene so I really had to do a little more improv and acting along with the great sex. Not just your average gonzo scene. I think the public will really enjoy the hard work we all put into this film. I know it has an all star line up with great talent across the board. I really feel some what privileged as you say to be a part of such a great film and to work with some top end talent. I sent you a picture of the box. The street date is April 20th 2006. Plus new stuff is constantly added, and I mustn’t forget the (at least once a week) sexy live cam shows that Sandee sets up for her members where she gives you a sexy performance real time.
