I was surprised to open my AOL homepage and find Jenna Jameson's name in large print as hosting the 69 Sexiest songs on AOL Radio. Jenna helped pick the songs, and then did introductions for them. One of my all time favorite songs, "Like a Virgin" by Madonna, was number 60. The program first aired on Valentine's Day. It can now be heard by anyone with an AOL screenname when you log in to AOL radio. Imagine listening to Jenna say " Do you want to join me for some 69 action?" on AOL. Hmmm. February 14th, 2007-VALENTINE'S DAY!
As in Saint Valentine's Massacre!
How did we go from a bunch of people getting slaughtered to celebrating it as a day of love?
We didn't. It was the other way around. On February 14th 1400 and something, Paris started a Court of Love which settled lover's disputes. This evolved into a holiday named after two Christian Martyrs named Valentine. Soon a custom was established that love letters be exchanged on "St Valentine's Day". Then in Chicago, on February 14th, 1929, Al "Scarface" Capone arranged for his gang to trick seven members of Bugs Malone's gang into showing up at a warehouse. Malone's men were lined up, shot and killed. Al Capone became the powerhouse of the city, and the day, St. Valentine's Day, added massacre to it's name to describe this gang war.
So if you need an excuse for not getting someone a Valentine's gift, just say you don't celebrate gang murders, lol.
But I celebrate Valentine's Day as a day of love, even if it does make the greeting card companies and the candy makers rich. They don't get my money though, I'd rather just use Valentine's Day as a reminder to tell those I care about that I love them. And it's really easy when you have a website! Before the turn of the new century, Matt Zane was directing pornos laced with original, hard-driving rock soundtracks and tattooed women engaging in uninhibited sexual fantasies. “I come back to the industry after six years and this thing called ‘alt porn’ is huge,” said Zane, “I asked a few people what it was and they tell me it's porn based around music, tattoos, piercing etc.... I laughed. I didn't think they were serious. AVN once said that was my ‘trademark style’; now it's a whole genre. When I started with the whole counter culture thing people in the business thought it was all a joke. Times have changed."
In Zane’s new series – “Tattooed & Tight” – famous tattoo artists will actually tattoo the performers (some for the first time), who then use the skin artists’ studios for their explicit hardcore scenes. Zane said the first release will feature Dirt (on the right in pic above), who gained worldwide mainstream media notoriety for inking Britney Spears, and Pleasure’s contract star, Tera Wrey.
Music will also play a major role in the Tattooed & Tight series, said Zane, a renowned rocker who was the first in history to perform before a live crowd while suspended by metal hooks pierced through his back. As front man for the heavy metal band Society 1 (nominated for best live performance in England in 2005 with other great acts such as U2), Zane has toured the world for the past six years, releasing five records, three DVDs, and two music videos. He said The Resistence, a duo of world-traveled artists/producers based in Los Angeles who have worked with groups like Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Orgy, and House Of Pain, will create exclusive music for the new series.
The Ballad of Luke & Holly continues, but more a battle then a ballad now.
After my very long story of the relationship and breakup of Holly and Luke, I feel an update is in order. And making THIS long story short won't be easy, so I am just grabbing the highlights. I believe we have free will and we are responsible for our choices." Luke goes on from drinking to compare homosexuals to pedophiles, and says that everyone needs religion in their lives to keep them in line. When Holly reads the rant she tells Luke to fuck off. She wants nothing more to do with him for the rest of her life. OUCH!

The annual trek to Las Vegas this year was once again a lot of fun, and yes, a lot of sex! The AVN AEE (Adult Entertainment Expo), like all past ones, was a delight to attend. Every year, I note more and more single females and couples enjoying the sites, taking photos, and getting autographs. Yes, there are still mostly males in the huge crowds, but it looks to me like they are becoming a smaller overall percentage every year. Attendees seemed to have a constant smile on their face, and a gleam in their eyes. I like being around happy people, and that's what these folks are when they are there. AVN provided a great venue, and a schedule that allowed time for business to get done as well as for fans to mingle with the stars. I'm turning 67 in the next few weeks, and I hope to attend many future AEE happenings in Las Vegas even when I'm in my 90's and even if I'm then using a walker or wheelchair. As always, AVN excelled at organizing a fun AEE, and a great AVN Awards Show (I was thrilled to be inducted into the Hall of Fame at the show).

I spent a lot of my AEE time appearing at the booth for www.wildlifexxx.com which, among other things, was highlighting the upcoming release of the Screw My Wife, Please, in 3-D; I watched the clips they were showing at their booth, and I felt like I was just feet away from the live action. Isabel and I might be working together in some upcoming filmings. I wonder if it will be the same as, or better, or not as good, as the GFE time we shared in Las Vegas? I'll let you know in next month's column, when I'll also be reporting on an Adult Internet show that I'll be attending in Hollywood (where one of the seminars will include a presentation by the FBI concerning new regulations for porn records-keeping), an event where parties are always lavish and plentiful, and business networking abounds.
