I wanted to tell you about the NEWEST trend in porn. Over the past couple years we have had a glut of squirting and extreme anal movies, well now several companies are looking to open up a new market- Top name porn stars having sex with transsexuals. Transsexuals are people that are born one gender but feel on the inside like they should be the other gender. They often have operations and take prescription drugs to change over.
For example we have a relatively new porn star who is unique. His name is Buck Angel. He is bald and has many tattoos. He was born a little girl, but never felt like one. The XXX.Church.com, #1 Christian porn site ( according to them of course, but then how many can there be?), rented a booth at the AVN show to uhmm, convert porn people to Christians? Did they want a church full of porn people taking Sundays off to go to mass? I just did't quite get it. But up on their site they have a recap from the Adult Expo. So I read it. Pastor Mikes says "My favorite quote of the porn show was after I had a great conversation with a woman about the XXXchurch ministry she said, “Thank you for not being a**holes.” Who would think that porn people, fans stars and industy would be interested it this booth? Well I can tell you one reason they are, the "JC Girls" are complete hotties, and could even BE in a porn. But the church says they had a successful convention, "75 people signed up to stop looking at porn, 1000 bibles given away, 250 t-shirts given away, and thousands of people ministered to." They also draw attention to their booth with Wallie the Weenie, an 8 foot tall blow up penis, which says " Do you have the balls to give up porn?" (CL-Yeah, seems a little bit inappropriate to me too) A JC girl, Katie in her recap says, "It's about walking up to a girl in a sparkling bra and 8-inch heels to ask for an autograph so that I can tell her in return that I am using it to pray for her." Yeah, sure okay. I know what I'd be using it for and it wouldn't be praying over it would be more like spraying over. I frankly don't know what to think. As the sun sets on another year in Porn Valley, we can look back at the best and the worst that the industry had to offer. We can also look forward to the new girls, talent movement and the trends that will shape 2007. (Five words: Porn For Your IPod) This first column of the year will focus on the end of the year awards. The fans have spoken the critic's choice noms are out and we're all getting ready for AVN to pass out the hardware in Las Vegas. That's what makes this time of year fun. Well, awards and the great new pictures of the hot girls I'm going to collect when I hit the floor.
For the eighth time, fans and readers of my site came to the polls and selected winners in the Rog Reviews Fan Faves Awards. The RRFF voting takes place in November every year and selects winners for Best Female, Best Male, Best Director, Best Newbie, Best Company and Most Wanted Celebrity. This year's voting took only four weeks to whittle down fields of as many as 100 names to a final round of four in each category. Fans turned to familiar names in the Best Director and Best Male category. Jules Jordan took home his fifth consecutive award as the top director in the business. Erik Everhard repeated his 2004 win as Best Male. Evil Angel won again as Best Company, their fourth win in a row. Angelina Jolie finally broke the pop-star death grip on the Most Wanted Celebrity award, beating out Jessica Alba in a close race. History was made this year when Taryn Thomas became the first woman to win both Best Female and Best Newbie in the same year. Using an aggressive Internet campaign to build support, Taryn beat out Katja Kassin for top female honors and got past tough competition from Hillary Scott and Jasmine Byrne to win best newbie honors. Thank you to all who took the time to vote and congratulations to the winners.
Mary Carey had a very busy month. When December began she was Kick Ass Pictures' one and only contract girl. By mid-month she announced that she had parted ways with the company after three years. Sporting a new look that includes a trimmer figure, brand new teeth and a pumped up set of doctor-made hooters, Mary said she wanted a fresh start. The split was amicable and necessary given Mary's new rack. Kick Ass stands by their 100% natural rule and apparently that even applies to their own contract stars. Not one to sit on the sidelines for long, Mary had a new contract a week after leaving Kick Ass. Landing a deal with Legend, Carey is now inked to a two-year deal that will feature twelve productions. In addition to the fresh start she was looking for, Legend apparently offers something that Mary just wasn't getting at Kick Ass. "I just wasn't feeling the (FINISH QUOTE)" Ever eloquent Mary added "I want to feel like a Princess when I'm sucking cock for money." The relaxed release schedule at Legend should also allow Mary plenty of time for her Gubernatorial run, which officially kicks off in February.
Joining Mary on the contract girl merry-go-round is former Wicked Girl Devinn Lane. Like Carey, Lane didn't stay on the market for long. The new deal will have Devinn directing movies for Shane's World. It is a perfect fit for Lane, who has been behind the camera for some memorable gonzo projects, including the highly-acclaimed "Road Trix" movies. Her style will fit in perfectly with the vibe at Shane's World. Devinn created quite a stir with her first SW project when the crew went out for a late night TP session. It might have been just another Shane's World prank had the home not belonged to Wicked director Brad Armstrong. Apparently Brad didn't find it as funny as Devinn had hoped, prompting Miss Lane to publicly apologize for incident.
One contract girl in the headlines, but not on the movie is Jesse Jane. The Digital Playground star has landed the cover of Playboy's 'Special Edition Lingerie' magazine, featuring 'The Girls of Playboy TV.' The issue highlights some of the sexy women who grace their airwaves. Jesse hosts "Naughty Amateur Home Videos" for the network when she isn't being one of Porn Valley's hottest performers. In addition to the cover shot, Jesse is featured prominently in a seven-page article inside. Fans hoping to pick up a copy can find it on stands during February and March.
In addition to the usual talent movement this month, we've had some comeback news. Former Vivid Girl Taylor Hayes has returned after several years away from the adult business. The one-time Tushy Girl for Seymore Butts has signed with Seymore's talent agency to once again perform in front of the camera. Several years ago Brandon Iron called me all excited for me to see his new movie, but he tried to tell me nicely that it might be just a little too much for me. I said no way, send it over. And that is when I watched the first edition of "Slap Happy" I also watched SH2, SH3, SH4. It was kinda like stopping to see the car accident thing. Don't get me wrong, I like the creativity and balls it took by Brandon and Extreme Associates to put out those movies. Some people have used them to jerk off, some college students I know would drink a ton of beer and get together to laugh and be grossed out, and some people would just stare in shock, but couldn't take their eyes away. As for me I would watch, and then cover my eyes, turn my head, watch some more, gag, laugh repeat. If you have never seen these innovative but scary movies, the basic premise is to choke and gag a girl with a dick, and slap her around until she throws up. Yep go ahead and read that again, that IS what I said. I remember one particularly gruesome scene where the girl had just drank a huge cup of coffee and puked it up along with breakfast all over the guy. herself and the ground, I won't go into any more details. So where am I going with this you might ask? It isn't that often that someone comes up with a NEW, innovative,rougher way to do porn. But Chatsworth Pictures has. I think I have found the 2006 modern creative version of the car wreck you just have to watch. It's called Donkey Punch, and let's just say sex and punching go head in hand in this fun flick from Grip & Cram Johnson. It might sound TOO hardcore but the Bros. Johnson pull it off because somehow they infuse humor and lightness into this subject matter. I think they could have written the Charles Manson Musical and gotten away with it.
