Saturday's agenda began with a full day of the convention. I had a bunch of highlights from day 2 of ELA starting with a reunion a year and a half in the making. For those of you that are longtime Xcitement readers you may remember my http://www.xcitement.com/content/iss_1402/avn_2006/avn_lo.html">AEE
AEE 2006 coverage in which I spoke of meeting Sativa Rose for the 1st time. I'm happy to say Sativa and I have finally seen each other again. She said somebody had told her about my article and she said that it was really sweet what I said about her. It was awesome reunion with a snuggle and a kiss on the cheek. Other highlights included catching up with Sunny Lane & Family, seeing Shane's World contract girl Casey Parker, snuggling with Gianna whom I met Friday, and getting a booty flash from Jenaveve Jolie. I was also very happy to get to catch up with my friends Francesca Le and Mark Wood. I've said many times in the past that those 2 are some of the most genuine people I've ever met in the biz. Francesca introduced me to her girl Carolyn Reese. I finally got the chance to meet the very sexy Brianna Love. I had heard a lot about and seen a lot from Brianna, but photos and video don't do her justice. Brianna is the type of female you have to see in person to fully appreciate her. It was great seeing a couple of my usual favorite girls Sinnamon Love and Courtney Cummz. Ashlynn Brooke was looking cute as always. I FINALLY had a conversation with Cindi's good friend Nina Mercedez' fine ass. She is something else. A little intimidating at first, but well worth talking to. I got to chat a little with Carmen Luvana. I met a new young girl named Alexis Love. Alexis told me I'd probably forget her name, but I assured her I wouldn't and I didn't forget. I took a couple pics of two top level stars, Gina Lynn and Joanna Angel. I got to say hello to Photographer Holly Randall. Last but not least it was great to see the return of Krystal Steal. I thought we might have seen the last of that beauty, but she returned for Erotica LA this year. Enjoy the pics.... |

| While Carmen was delighted to share the screen with such esteemed mainstream stars, she's quick to point out that the part of "Angel" was not a typical porn star cameo. "The role was provocative, to be sure, but there was real acting required. I think certain people had the idea that 'porn stars can't act,' and I worked hard to dispel those notions. Some of them obviously weren't familiar with my work for Wicked, and didn't know that creating characters and delivering dialogue is something I'd already been doing for a long time. The director was very pleased with the results. In fact, it looks like the film will be going to Sundance, and I plan to be there to support it." |

Horny hopefuls wishing to join current contract star Tera Wray at Pleasure are required to submit their best 2-3 pictures along with a witty 50-word-or-less reason why they want to be porn royalty, no later than Labor Day (Sept. 3). All submissions will be reviewed, a select few will be interviewed (either by phone or in person), and the winner(s) will be chosen for the ultimate screen test.
“If a girl’s going to make it in porn, we obviously have to see how she moves in front of the camera with another person,” said Paone. “We’ll shoot her in a scripted hardcore scene – complete with dialogue – on one of our regular sets. If she can carry the scene and we like what we see, we’ll use that scene in one of our upcoming releases. If we really like what we see, then it may be time to take the next step.” Paone said the winner will also pose for a series of glamour shots (nude and clothed), and might possibly appear in one of the company’s trade show booths to see how they handle meeting and greeting fans.
“We’re timing this so our ultimate winner(s) will be ready for the Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas in January, ‘08,” said Paone. “That show is the perfect opportunity for new talent to meet retailers and consumers in one place, and to create relationships that will make people want to watch her movies. Tera Wray was a huge fan favorite at the ’07 show, and her career took off with several personal appearances around the country, excellent DVD sales, and even her own mainstream radio show.” |

| I was on the list for 2 Friday night parties. I left ELA fully planning to go to Jeff Mullen's Sex Z Pictures party and then hit Monstar's party. I'm sad to say I had trouble finding Jeff Mullen's party. I ended up walking the streets of Hollywood and actually walked into Monstar's party by accident. I was met by Mike Moz at the door and he informed me that security at Jeff Mullen's party weren't allowing photography, so I stayed at Monstar's party and enjoyed what little time was left before 2am. The events surrounding Erotica LA(ELA) started on the Wednesday night before ELA. I went by Prime Time Uncensored to visit my friend Wankus who was doing his show Wankus Live. His co-host is usually the awesome Tyler Faith, but this week there was a fill-in co-host New Sensations contract girl Ashlynn Brooke. After Wankus Live I headed to Hollywood for the 1st of the weeks Adult Industry parties. The party was for the release of a film. I got an invite from the really cool, beautiful, and big booty'd Krystal Jordan who was 1 of the hosts of the party. While there I met the party promoter Gus Freelance and his crew(Mario & co.). They took really good care of me at this party and 2 other parties they threw during the weekend. I did run into a small issue at this 1st party. The security for the club decided that only certain members of the press were going to be allowed to take pics in the club and I guess I didn't meet the criteria. Luckily some of my girls in the biz came through for me and gave me private photo shoots in the parking lot, so I turned a set back into a positive thanks to some cool ladies. Such as Tyla Wynn, Sunny Lane, Ashlynn Brooke, Krystal Jordan, Mya Luanna, and Trina Michaels(who introduced me to her friend Richelle Ryan who I built up quite a friendship with throughout the ELA weekend). Along with those ladies, Ron Jeremy, Mr Marcus, and Bishop(from Showtime's Family Business) made cameos.... |

Thursday's agenda was the 2nd Annual Babes & ACE's Poker Tournament and then KSEX for Tony Batman's A! Entertainment. I left at 4:30pm and headed to Babes & ACE's with a little bit of nerves. I wasn't sure what to expect from this event. It usually takes an hour to an hour & a half to get to downtown LA from the valley, which would have gotten me there around 6pm. The traffic was hell on this day for some reason. I didn't arrive until about 6:45(the event was scheduled for 6pm).
Once inside the casino I couldn't find the tournament. I walked through the whole casino and just couldn't find it. I was just about to leave out of frustration when a vision of beauty walked up to me and reached her hand out to me. It was none other than Jenaveve Jolie 1 of the most beautiful girls in the adult industry today. She was lost just like I was. She was on the phone with Mike Moz who was at the tournament. With Mike's directions and my knowledge of the casino layout Jenaveve and I found our way to the tournament. Needless to say, I was routing for my girl Jenaveve the whole time she was in the tournament and I'm proud to say Jeneveve played extremely well. She was 1 of the last 3 female performers left in the tournament along with Carmen Hart(who went out no more than a couple hands after Jenaveve) and Daphne Rosen(who made it to the final 2 tables with some serious card sharks). This event was FULL of female talent, industry folks, and a couple celebs. People such as Tera Patrick, Courtney Cummz, Sunny Lane, Flower Tucci, Jenna Haze, Alektra Blue, Danny Case, Tommy Gunn, and the list goes on and on as well as the girls I mentioned earlier. Babes & ACE's had refreshments, plenty of room, lots of seating, a bar, and just an all around great vibe. Being for a good cause and not having to deal with drunken LA club patrons made for an easy fun night.
With the way traffic was I ended up staying for the whole tournament and missed my KSEX visit, but I spoke to Tony Batman later in the weekend and let him know why I didn't make it. Tony Batman was cool about it. The only Adult Industry person that made it to the final table was New Sensations Director Jew Hefner(who had a cheering section including myself and Tommy Gunn).
