Aria Moon is EDI Champion

The Exotic Dancer Invitational is now in its forth year. It is split into East and West divisions. Previous East have been held in Cleveland, Baltimore, and West Palm Beach. This year the event was held at the Pony Club in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 6-8, 2017. The pageant has a restricted field with a limited number of contestants. Unlike previous years there were only two divisions, Newcomers and Showgirls. Also this year the competiton had a new emcee Bobby Mac who did an outstanding job.

The event kicked off with a welcome feast at the downtown Bucca di Beppo hosted by club owner Jerry Westlund. At the conclusion of dinner numbers were drawn for the order of shows and it was off to the Pony to begin the event.

The contestants were judged in four categories, Appearance, Costume and Theme, Stage Presence and Overall Performance by a panel of judges .

Thursday night the six newcomers who competed proved they were not only highly qualified but well prepared for the event. The top three would then go on to the finals on Saturday night. Victoria Drive opened the show followed by Blake Monroe, Eva L’Ray, Stacia Dianna, Annie Lane and Lori Lane. Adult star Dakota Doll did a guest stage show.
Friday night the Showgirls competed in what was a very level playing field. Show after show was outstanding. The contestants were Angela Sommers, Justice, Aria Moon, Liza Lust, Natasha Nova, Trinity Turner and Lady Sirene. Also performing were the Perfect Pair, a due act who excelled with their tandem pole dancing.

At the conclusion of the Friday competition Simone Danalustrous, took the stage where she was joined by birthday girl Lacey Rain. The birthday cake was delivered while the two on were stage.

On Saturday night the top three in each division competed. The night opened with The Perfect Pair followed by the Newcomers and then the Showgirls. While the results were tallied Simone and Lacey did an outrageous show.

We need to do a shout out to Natasha Nova and Lori Lane who both went above and beyond by bringing two different shows. We also want to mention Justice with an incredible stage set and ruby high heels for her Wizzard of Oz show.
